Winter holiday in Obergurgl
Skiing, cross-country skiing, tobogganing & Co.
The diamond of the Alps, as Obergurgl is also known, sparkles in a particularly beautiful way in winter. The first snow falls as early as October. It gets really wintery in mid-November, when the ski resort of Obergurgl-Hochgurgl opens and the landscape is covered in snow. Thanks to the altitude of the glacier village, lifts and slopes begin at around 2000 metres. This guarantees great skiing until the end of April. Away from the slopes there are super conditions for cross-country skiing, winter hiking and tobogganing. The sun warms all snow sports enthusiasts even in the depths of winter and allows the countryside to shine like a winter wonderland. Take a look at the webcam to see the current Gurgl weather.
