Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road

Hairpin after hairpin, the highest pass in the Eastern Alps winds its way up to the Timmelsjoch. The highest point of the road is at 2509 metres and also marks the Austrian-Italian border. A total of five experience stations tell interesting facts about the history of the road. Whether by convertible, motorbike or racing bike – the road is guaranteed to be worth a trip. A great day trip is also a drive over the Timmelsjoch to Meran, in a good 1.5 hours by car from Obergurgl you will be in the small town with the Mediterranean flair.
