Your hosts in Haus Alpenblick
We have been welcoming guests at the Alpenblick for many decades now. In a house full of tradition and with a long history. It all started with the Dodlshof. At the time, it was one of the original farms in Obergurgl, built as early as the 18th century. Since the 1930’s we have been renting rooms to guests from near and far. Our house has carried the appropriate name of Alpenblick (Alpine view), for about 70 years.
Rooted in Obergurgl
Since then the Alpenblick has been in the family. A business full of tradition that due to its history is deeply rooted in Obergurgl. The connection to the local countryside is very close to our hearts. Not only our house, but also our farm has been in the family for generations. In summer, our cows are herded past the house into the barn in the evening, our sheep graze on lush alpine meadows and the annual hay-making is always on the calendar. Butter and milk for our breakfast also come from our own farm.
Feel at home
Our dog, Kody, greets our guest warmly at the door. Your host Julia lovingly prepares breakfast. And the man of the house Method shows you the most beautiful corners of Obergurgl on a ski- course. This personal connection to our guests is very important to us. We look forward to welcoming you to our wonderful home. And hope you feel at home with us.
